We are reading submissions for Issue XVI from October 15, 2022 to November 30, 2022. 

We only accept unsolicited and previously unpublished work. Work published on social media and/or blogs will not be considered published. At the moment, we only accept works written in English. 

We do not accept submissions outside of this submissions period.

Submissions will only be accepted through Submittable. Please do not send us submissions via email. Please follow all genre-specific guidelines. Non-compliance may result in your work being rejected or left unread. 

We accept simultaneous submissions. However, please withdraw your submission if your piece has been accepted elsewhere. In the case of poetry, flash fiction or visual art submissions, please send us an email at submissions.inklettemagazine@gmail.com and mention the titles of poems that have been accepted elsewhere. Alternatively, you can add a note to your submission through Submittable and let us know.

We may conduct editorial rounds for poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. During the editorial rounds, you will be put in touch with one of our editors who will help you edit your piece or may provide their comments if we think your piece could benefit from some edits. The publication of the piece is not contingent on the writer's acceptance of our editorial suggestions. The editorial rounds can last for two weeks. The aim of the editorial rounds is to create a workshop-like environment and a community of artists and writers that supports creative exchange and fosters an editorial dialogue and process.

We do not tolerate plagiarism. If your work is found to be plagiarized, we will immediately reject your submission.

By submitting your work to Inklette, you grant us first serial rights and the right to archive your work online for an indefinite period of time. We may also choose to nominate published work for awards or any other kind of recognition. You retain all other rights.
